SHRIKISM

1. IDENTIFICATIONS
A Shrike is a small bird that impales his/her victim on a
thorn and then picks it (the victim) apart muscle by
muscle and sinew by sinew. (While the victim lives!)

In the Body of Christ shrikes are extremely performance-oriented.
They universally feel unloved.
Gather all the righteousness of others to themselves.
They force others to act out evil.
They are super-Pharisees. (ultra)
They suffer from deep-seated feelings of insecurity / inferiority.

1) EVERYONE ELSE AROUND THEM IS FUMBLE - FINGERED.
Persons around them will act out unrighteousness.
2) ALWAYS STIRRING TROUBLE.
Create division naturally.
3) BLACK AND WHITE THINKERS.
No greys.
4) LOSS OF LAUGHTER, fun and JOY.
Everything deadly serious.
5) CANNOT TAKE REBUKE.
6) PROJECT OWN MOTIVES ON OTHERS.
7) REWRITE HISTORY.
8) CANNOT RECEIVE INNER HEALING.
9) NEVER OWN THE PROBLEM.
10) GATHERS TROOPS AND ARMIES.
11) AFRAID OF NOT BEING LOVED.
II. BRINGING HEALING
1) Accept and love the shrike.
2) Speak the truth in love.
3) Confront repeatedly in group situation.
4) GATHER history... (What was father/mother like?)
5) Constant prayer for the shrike.
